When action is required to publish your experience or service listing
When Airbnb needs additional actions from you, your listing will show Action required, with info about what’s required.
What actions may be needed to publish your listing
Update your listings details: All info on your listing—like photos, title, and description—must meet our listing standards. In the Listing editor for your experience or service, open each section to review what needs updating. You can click or tap individual photos to find out which photos we recommend replacing.
Submit your required documents: Certain experiences or services require proof of licenses, permits, or insurance. Find out more about host licensing and insurance requirements.
Verify your identity: All hosts and co-hosts must complete Airbnb’s identity verification before a listing can be published or a co-host can be added.
Complete a background check: For select types of service hosts in some locations, a background check is required for your listing to be published. We may also conduct background checks on other hosts in certain locations. Find out more about how background checks work, including how they work for service hosts.
Verify your host account: Additional info is needed to verify your account.
Confirm your phone number: You’ll provide the phone number where we can send important notifications.
Add or review your profile photo: Every host is required to have a profile photo.
Provide proof of your professional reputation: You may receive a request to provide guest reviews and testimonials, or other forms of recognition, to demonstrate a strong professional reputation.

In some cases, a listing will show Actionrequired, and Airbnb will contact you directly to collect additional information.
In order to become an Airbnb Service or Experience host, you must possess (a) valid licence(s) and insurance. Hosts may also be required to show proof of licensing and/or insurance as part of their submission.
