Regulations affecting financial institutions in Russia and Belarus

Because of recent regulations, Airbnb can no longer process transactions affiliated with certain financial institutions in Russia and Belarus. This is an ongoing situation, and we’ll provide further guidance as we receive more information.

How this may affect Hosts

Because of these regulations, we’re now unable to process payouts to certain Russian and Belarusian financial institutions, and it’s possible that your payout could be affected. If that’s the case, we recommend that you add another payout method to your Host account that we’re able to support so you can get current and upcoming payouts without interruption.

If you can’t add a new payout method to your account that we’re able to support, then the payouts owed to you will be waiting and will be processed if and when we can support processing.

How this may affect guests

If you’re a guest, we’re also now unable to process payments associated with certain Russian and Belarusian financial institutions. If your payment is being declined, this may be the reason.

This could especially affect long-term reservations or if you have a payment plan, and we recommend that you add another payment method to your account to avoid any interruptions.

If you can’t add a new payment method that will work, we won’t be able to process your transactions at this time.
