Paying for reservations in India
Full payment is charged when a trip request is submitted
Indian credit cards require two-factor authentication, so guests residing there are charged for the full cost of the reservation when submitting a trip request. We’re unable to change the payment method once you’re booked.
If your request expires or is declined by the Host, we’ll immediately refund you in full, which can take up to 15 days for you to receive, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Understanding how payments in India work to avoid double-booking
Be careful submitting multiple trip requests for the same dates—if they’re all confirmed, you’ll be double-booked and the reservations will be subject to the Host’s cancellation policy.
