Then our walking tour starts together with Mohammed V Square "Pigeons Square" that forms the central hub of Casablanca’s new town and is home to some of the most striking architecture in the city. Along with the neighboring United Nations Square. It’s a large palm-tree lined public square represents the place where the old and new town meet. Followed by a relaxed walk through the Medina (old town) of Casablanca. Dip into the daily life of the locals and travel back in time while rambling through the narrow streets. 4 Days Desert Tours from Casablanca
DAY 1: CASABLANCA – MEKNES - FES Today we pick up you in Casablanca and we start our private tour driving to Fes with a guided tour of capital Rabat and also Meknes. We make short stops to visit the Roman ruins in Volubilis and then on to Fes where we’ll arrive in the evening. Overnight in a traditional Moroccan riad/hotel with dinner. DAY 2: FES – AZROU – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA Today we explore Fes city including the Jewish Quarter (the Mellah) and the Royal Palace (yard), which is the biggest one in the country. Then we’ll leave Fes travelling towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. During this journey you’ll see glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas Mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where you may well see Barbarian apes. Lunch will be in Midelt in a traditional Moroccan restaurant , then afterwards we’ll travel through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock and along the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We’ll drive through welcoming Berber villages to Erfoud and then Rissani, before arriving to Merzouga. We enjoy camel ride guided by an experienced camel man. This camel ride takes about 1 hour to arrive to the camp-where you will spend the night- in the middle of the highest sand dunes to enjoy the sunset and watch stars . the dinner will be served at the camp. DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODGHA GORGE – DADES VALLEY Today in the morning we watch a beautiful desert sunrise, walk over the sand dunes and admire the amazing landscape of the Sahara Desert. After breakfast we go through the palm groves to Rissani, to visit the marketplace (open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), and continue to Erfoud to visit the manufactures of fossilized marble. We will reach the Todgha Gorge, the highest narrowest canyon in Morocco. Lunch and walk through the Gorge to appreciate the wonderful landscape. In the afternoon we head towards the Dades Valley and spend the night in Boumalne Dades. DAY 4: DADES VALLEY - ROSE VALLEY – SKOURA – MARRAKECH After breakfast we explore Dades Valley. Later on, we drive towards the Valley of Roses driving through the palm groves of Skoura and the “One Thousand Kasbahs” road, where you can appreciate 17th-century kasbahs. We will have lunch in Ouarzazate and, if you are interested, we can visit the cinema studios and the cinema museum. We will arrive in Marrakech in the evening and transfer you to the hotel. Join me on an Authentic homemade Moroccan food, tea, and local culture ! In this experience, I will be sharing a piece of my ancestor's traditions. Both robust and light, spicy and sweet, rustic and refined, the tagine, with its unique form reflects the soul of Moroccan culture and its inhabitants. What we will do: Shopping for ingredients: This meal can be made with a variety of ingredients, including meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruits, spices, and olive oil .. join me in my neighborhood to find the ingredients. Prepping the ingredients: preparing together and sharing my grandmother's recipe for this meal. Cooking: the final l component of this culinary technique is low fire. in the span of an hour, It allows all the ingredients to cook slowly and imparts the dish its distinct flavor. Homemade tea: While the food is cooking on slow heat, we will be having a cup of tea and a chat :) Eating together: using pieces of fresh flatbread to scoop up the dish. the common way of eating. Walking Tour By Night to explore Casablanca's main squares and vibrant spots. I will pick you up from your accommodation or hotel to start our sightseeing walking tour "Private Group Only". We start off by walking through the Medina "Ancient Town" to explore Africa Town and to experience the vibrant Souk at night. After, we will head out to the beating heart of Casablanca city and busiest spot in town "The United Nations Square", and it is also the point where the city starts transforming gradually from Old to Modern. From there we will wander the Art Decos around as we walk our way to Place Mohammed 5 which is the central hub of Casablanca. At the square, we take photos here because we will be noticing the difference in architecture from here already. Then we head towards the newest part of Casablanca to stop in front of The Sacred Heart Church to admire its fascinating structure. Last but not least, we keep walking to the Twin Centre in Maarif, and we will walk up the stares and enjoy a panoramic view to the busy city from up there. Then we'll go to local market to buy fresh ingredients and then to house because this is not a demonstration, but a fun cooking class where you can cut, slice , chop, and spice up. It’s for those who really want to get to know the world and the people living in it.
