What you'll do

We will meet and greet in Jacobsbaai where we will start with our hike. I will share a bit of history and interesting facts about our town while we pass certain areas on our hike. If our hike takes place while it's low tide, I will take you to the pieces of "Margaret" sticking out of the ocean. It was a barge that went shipwreck on the rocks in 2009. It was a big and sad event for our little town. I will share her history. We will stop regularly for photos. It is a very beautiful hike and not many people know about these small, secluded beaches we have. Truly romantic and very private. We won't get to see many other hikers. Infact this specific hike is the first on Airbnb. It's not difficult and if you only hike, it will take you 90 minutes. It's for the entire family. But we are going to take our time enjoying the beautiful views, taking photos and have lovely breakfast/lunch at Swartriet on the beach, so prepare for an amazing 3 hours experience. This hike can be extended.
We will return from Swartriet to Jacobsbaai and I will take you past the abalone farm where I use to work for 10 years and give you a bit of interesting history and info on it.
Come and enjoy our beautiful Town on the west coast!

I am an entrepreneur and the founder of Seetuin. Making delicious home cooked meals, creating romantic, fun picnic baskets and also making an sweet favorite.... chocolate biscuit fudge!
As a wife, mom and entrepreneur, I quickly learned to use my time wisely in the kitchen. Creating lovely family meals full of flavor, and doing it in the minimum time. I also learned the secrets to re-create leftover food in a flash!
My love for cooking was born in my "single" years when I was preparing myself to be a wife that one day can cook hearty meals.
The kitchen is a place where I can create moments and memories with family and friends..... a place where love can be tasted!
I love reading cookbooks, enjoying new restaurants, always time for a picnic and going for walks with my little one in our beautiful little town next to the ocean.
