What you'll do
Learn to use your senses to appreciate the state of the tea leaves, and be aware of your own capabilities to appreciate tea before actual tasting. Using direct experience and free association, distinguish the shape, colour, texture, thickness and scent of the tea leaves before brewing them in water. Depend on sensation rather than reason. The variations in the tea leaves is innumerable, like the reflections in a kaleidoscope. Through the exercise above, follow the trail of the leaves, the pieces of the puzzle called “nature.” Learn how watch how a leaf-its shape, colour, touch or scent-changes over time. Unravel the natural codes of the tea leaves, and learn that the changing leaf is in fact a life in miniature.
I’m a tea planner. Specifically, I’m a tea trainer. I’m a content strategist. I’m a tea lady. I’m a tea master. I’m a sensory experience designer, designing for the senses. I’m a storyteller. I learned the tea ceremony in my youth, and that encounter with tasty Chinese tea changed my life. The taste was amazing and surprising, so I fell in love with Chinese tea. I love the comfortable atmosphere of drinking tea with my family, friends, or even people I've just met. So I'd like to enjoy it with you.
