What you'll do

Starting from the City Bridge we will take panorama of the City to the Foša Harbour. After that we will sail towards Ošljak (the smallest inhabited island in Croatia) and spend some quality time on the island to enjoy its natural beauties and quietness. Next stop is sandy beach Jaz on the island Ugljan where you can find coffee bars, souvenirs, and fresh sea food restaurant. Exactly eighty meters opposite of sandy beach Jaz is island Galevac, small island with the 15th century Franciscan monestary which is from 1959 only accesible by a small paddle boat whose driver is now eighty years old.
Your cruise will take place in nearby island of Zadar and it is a great way to experience the local islands and its bays where big tourist ships has no access.

Hi, my name is Andrej. I am a professor of history and geography and a great sea lover, also I am founder of „Banalis boats“, a small business that I started by myself. Five years ago I bought a boat from 1985 and spent a year reconstructing it, mostly by myself using the skills I've learned over a long period of time with my older relatives. Since my early childhood I have been on my cousin's boat exploring all the islands and bays of Zadar archipelago, fishing and spearfishing. I decided to show people the beauty of the nearby islands and bays and the places where I spent my time with my family and friends. Thanks to the knowledge of geography and history combined with the experience of years spent at sea I am happy to share this with people who are interested in exploring natural beauty of nearby islands, swimming and walking.

Where you'll be

The most beautiful places and bays in Zadar archipelago are those that can not be reached with a large boat or ferry and these are the places where we spend most of our time on our boat trip.

Definitely recommend! Andrej and Nathalja were extremely friendly and would adjust the tour to our wishes. We got to see beautiful landscapes we would’ve missed out on otherwise. All in all a very special trip for us!

I had a nice tour to different remote islands with Andrej and Natalie. Andrej and Natalie are super nice and friendly, and they would suggest different destination routes and things to do & see. On top of that, they also talked about the history and some stories about the islands which I found interesting. The remote islands are like heavens to me, because you would not see much tourism commercial, and they are all very local and native. We went to an island, and the water was so clean that I saw sea cucumber and sea urchin. I stepped on the sea urchin and believe me it was a pain in the neck to pull the spike out. Thanks to Andrej's and Natalie's first Aid knowledge with the habitat, my toe was recovered in time for the next voyage.

The boat trip was an absolute joy. It is super flexible, you get to see small beautiful islands, can go snorkeling and we even saw a dolphin. We went to a nice restaurant on one of the islands with fresh fish. Andrej welcomed us in the beginning of the trip and then it was just me, my boyfriend and the two skippers, which were super funny, knowledgable and had complete control over the boat. We had such a good time, I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to have a nice and relaxing adventure :) Greetings to our skippers, Nicole and Jan

Andrej and Natalie took us out for a beautiful tour of the 3 islands on very short notice in the beginning of March. The weather wasn't the best but we still had an amazing time with interesting conversations and delicious food (Andrej went above and beyond to make sure there were vegan options for me which was greatly appreciated!). Thank you both for a splendid day :)
