What you'll do

Marvel at the great works of Michelangelo, getting an up-close look at the ground-breaking masterpieces he created for the Pope's private chapel. Let our expert guide take you inside the minds of the geniuses of the Renaissance who changed the face of Rome five centuries ago; spend your day exploring the Vatican and learning about some of the most incredible artworks ever created.

Discover the treasures of the Vatican Picture Gallery (Pinacoteca), a hidden gem of the Museums that most tourists never get to experience, where you'll be able to admire Raphael's magnificent Transfiguration - the last work the artist painted before his untimely death. In the Raphael Rooms meanwhile, decipher the master's iconic School of Athens before making your way to the Sistine Chapel, the heart-stopping climax of the museum route.

From there skip all the queues and arrive directly in St. Peter’s Basilica, where you'll witness the long history of the Christian faith: be moved by Michelangelo’s Pietà and encounter the dramatic works of Bernini as well as countless other masterpieces. This unique in-depth tour is the best way to get the most out of your day at the Vatican, an experience not to be missed!.

My name is Desiree. I am a 31 year woman originally from the Netherlands. After studying tourism, International business and Languages and working in the Wine industry for 4 years I decided it was time for the next adventure.

I love getting to know new cultures, languages, food, wine (& cocktails), reading and dancing. I'm very passionate in sharing my knowledge and interest of the beautiful Italian cities, that I was lucky enough to visit.

I started working for a walking tour company 3 years ago that provides in-depth accessible tours for people looking to do tours on another level. It is called Through Eternity Tours.
