What you'll do

Especially designed for foodies, this tour will take you to a fabulous local culinary experience while maneuvering the top city attractions by segway. From the eye-catching liveliness of Gwangjang Traditional Market to the finale at a Korean BBQ, you'll feel the delicious wonders of being Korean!

You will start your adventure at Exit No.1 of Gwanghwamun Station (Subway Line 5). The first order of business will be to get acquainted with how to ride Segways, and you will be given some time to practice.

The first stop is Changdeokgung Palace. After parking, we will head into the palace, where you will have thorough explanations on Korean history, the palace, and more.

The next stop is Ikseondong, where you can find a complex of young, trendy businesses housed inside vintage traditional Korean homes. Here you will enjoy a variety of scenic cafes, restaurants, and silverware shops.

After exploring this trendy labyrinth, we will ride back on our segways and move to Gwangjang Traditional Market. Let's discover the animated street food stalls inside this massive marketplace! We will do some sampling of some of the best Korean Mung Bean Pancakes here.

After the food sampling, we will ride alongside Cheonggyechon Stream to finally arrive at our restaurant! Quality Korean Pork Barbeque will be provided.

Hello, my name is Jun and I am an avid bicycle and Segway enthusiast. Along with Wonhee (who has a degree in art and history) and Steve, I run Seoul Riding - Segway & E-Bike Tours. I am also an English speaking guide who is certified by the Korean Tourism Organization.

I started my career as a driving tour guide. As you may know, traffic in Seoul can be quite bad at times and for me, driving to major tour destinations felt unnecessary since they are not too far from each other in Seoul. However they are a bit far if you want to explore by walking. This observation became my inspiration to start doing Segway tours.

Leading people around the city has allowed me to provide them with thorough information and stories on Korean history and culture. It also lets me show the character of this 600 year-old city, more closely and effectively.
