I have studied for about 3 years to get my degree as a Tour Guide and I have a carnet that allows me to work as a tour guide. I also have studied English for about 3 years and I have a Certificate in Advanced English Level. Nowadays I' m working in a Free Walking Tour from Monday to Friday in the morning. So I'm free in the afternoon and on weekends too. I have done this kind of tour for about 5 years. I really enjoy this kind of job cause I like to meet new people everyday and learn new cultures. I love my city and I enjoy showing it to others.

Violeta is a warmhearted, knowledgable woman. Within the short time I had, she responded very much to my interests. I continue and deepen the information on my own. Thank you.

Violeta is a great guide. I got to have a one on one experience w her. We met at the cafe and had a great discussion about both of our lives and language skills. From there we went to two different open air markets where we spoke with real Peruvians. We also went to a few special places in different neighborhoods. Violeta answered all of my questions about Arequipa, customs, culture and life in Peru. Violeta is an excellent guide, especially for your first day in town. I definitely recommend her

Violeta is a great guide, patient and very knowledgeable, fluent in both Spanish and English, and above all very nice person with plenty of good tips if you ask anything about the city, food, museums Arequipa’s history or anything concerning what to do outside Arequipa. Felt very good during the experience and got to know interesting facts about the city, traditions and much more.

We enjoyed our walking tour and saw some great sights along the way. Violeta did her best to ensure that we saw things we had not already seen and gave us good historical background along the way.

She was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. She showed us many unique areas of town and introduced us to the culture and history of Arequipa. Her suggestions of where to go for authentic shops, restaurants, and areas where on point. Wonderful experience for the limited time we had.
