What you'll do

We will meet in Malga Ciapela, in front of the cablecar station.
We will greet and know each other waiting for our run to start.
On our way to Punta Rocca with an exclusive cablecar run, I will tell you some stories about the cablecar that is 50 years old and about the men who built it among many difficulties.
We will reach Punta Rocca, where I will tell you more about the main mountains around Marmolada and you will have some free time to take pictures and enjoy the view without other tourists nearby.
After that we will visit the "Grotto for the Madonna", a symbol of peace with the statue of the Madonna that was donated and consecrated by Pope John Paul II.
Near this we will take a quick look to some historic pictures about the construction of the cable car.
Then, we will take the cablecar back to Serauta and we will meet Romina. She's the guide of the World War Museum - the highest one in Europe. She will guide you through some memorabilias and she will tell you some interesting war stories (with some didactical games for kids).
When the visit ends, we will have a great farewell aperitif to exchange opinions and emotions. After that the descent is free, so you can decide to stay a little longer or go back to Malga Ciapela with me.

In fact, a significant part of the Great War was fought on the ice of this mountain!
