Former Duke of Edinburgh Award leader, Local Authority public rights of way team member and currently volunteer rep for the South West Coast Path Association, I am an experienced and passionate walker. I have good knowledge of local plants and wildlife to help you identify what you are seeing.
I love to share my home town and my home stretch of the stunning coast path with friends and visitors.
My family dates back in Cornwall to the 1500s and I have lived in Fowey for nine years.
I will lead you safely and keep you informed and entertained as we walk.

Where you'll be

Mevagissey is a classic Cornish fishing village with harbour. After this we visit the little holiday cove at Portmellon then onto open coastal footpath to picturesque Chapel Point and adjacent Colona Beach (which is not accessible by vehicle). Turning inland along a small valley with stream and crossing a lane, we descend on an ancient trackway to Galowras Mill. Our homeward route is through meadows to lovely Penwarne Manor and back to Mevagissey

Lucy was a perfect host: knowledgeable, adaptable, friendly and interesting. The walk was hilly, and she made sure to let us go out our own (sometimes painfully slow) pace and never made us feel rushed. She also had some top tips for photo spots, and gave us some ideas on what to do on the rest of our stay here.
