What you'll do

Tajimi city is 30 km north from Nagoya, and has the largest share of pottery production and wholesale markets in Japan since the Middle Ages. In addition to the pottery industry, there are many Sake breweries in and around of Tajimi.

First you meet a guide (me) in Tajimi and move to a neighboring town by car. Then we take a short bush walk in a waterfall park.

After enjoying fresh air and water sounds, we visit Sake brewery and learn how they make Sake. Sake is brewed with the spring water from mountains and the tastes of sake varies of characteristic, mellow and dry.

Then we drive back to Tajimi and visit an old local Sake shop to enjoy Kaku-uchi (Sake tasting). Kaku-uchi means to drink alcohol at Sake shop, not at a bar, and is one of Japan's traditional cultural practices.
You will enjoy a bottle of local sake with a special Sake cup prepared just for you!

Duration : 4 hours
Meeting time: 9 am or 2 pm
