Our guide Alex was great, knowledgeable and attentive. A few things could have been clearer. The booking is listed as a private (or more accurately, small group) trip up to four people. The per person rate is much higher if you happen to have a group of four individuals each making separate bookings (€312/pp) and sharing the trip. Versus, if you make one booking for a group of four, the per person rate is almost a third(€94/pp). My partner and I booked the trip and shared with another group of two - each group was charged €318. We later learnt that this is the same rate if the trip was just the two of us. The company organises several hiking trips. Note that this one involves more time in the car and sightseeing - likely great for those who want a chilled day. We would have preferred more time to walk but as we are sharing the trip we didn’t want to impose activities on others. Also if you get car sick easily, be mindful that the trip goes through a fair amount of mountain roads.

We had an excellent trip in eastern Tenerife, it was a once in a life time experience! The photos that Eugenio took for us were absolutely stunning, they added such special value to the whole tour. The forest was stunning, with the songs of birds sounding truly magical the whole time. We were incredibly lucky to spot a blue chaffinch, which Eugenio mentioned was a very rare sight! Thanks again for organising such a great hike and for choosing that amazing restaurant for our lunch!
