After graduated with honor from Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management program in the U.S., I moved to Quebec City and founded HQ Services Touristiques Inc (www.hqst.ca) in 2013 as the first young immigrant female entrepreneur in the tourism scene in the city. Food and drinks are the things I love the most when jumping through cultures. And Quebec City is the perfect playground for foodies like you and me. We can go from carnaval style to the fine French dining, to classic Italian, to New-Canadian, to local Quebecois fair. Join a passionate local Quebecois guides to the finest food experience in the city!

The tour was marvelous once we connected. We would certainly do this again... WITH RESERVATIONS. We were asked to change the date or time of our tour twice due to "logistical problems." In fact, the problem was that a large cruise ship was in port and had bought up all the tour guides they could. One could understand tour guides wanting the large amount of business the ships certainly bring. However, potential customers should know that they risk being significantly "inconvenienced" or worse, with little or no notice by this and other firms. Communication with Chelsea's service was good and the tour was EXCELLENT. But it is wrong to ask someone that has signed up for a tour with plenty of existing capacity to switch dates... and then do it AGAIN the day before the tour. This is an issue that is not unique to this particular tour but should be addressed by Airbnb. It isn't right for travelers to plan, and PAY, for events on their trip only to find their plans are subject to the caprice of a cruise ship.

Marie was a delightful person, warm and thoughtful and possessed with a wealth of knowledge. We had such great conversation that we got behind schedule, and she made special arrangements to eat dessert after the ferry ride. The courses were creative, healthy and delicious. We were unable to eat all of the food at 2 locations, but of course we finished our dessert! All wines were high quality and sufficient quantity. We had high hopes for the event, and the experience far surpassed them.

This was a great experience for our first time in Old Quebec! We had an amazing, intelligent tour guide Marie & we quickly connected. The food was excellent beginning with a caprese salad, next was a charcuterie board with pork selections, next was an all organic, locally sourced vegetable dish, next Italian veal with gravy & mushrooms & pasta. These were all paired with local wines. Our final stop was decadent ice cream dish & infused tea. All so delicious! As we walked between restaurants, Marie gave us a wonderful history lesson on Lower Town. The tour also includes a round trip ferry ride to Levis. The view of the cities from the ferry is phenomenal. This tour was well priced & we were very happy that we decided on taking the opportunity to have this experience.

The first restaurant served a mediocre tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad. My version of this same typical salad is much better. At least I use ripe tomatoes. The rest of the courses were very nice, we were treated to cloth napkins and tablecloths, good service and it seemed special. The food was good. However. This event was supposed to include a ferry ride. No mention was made of it and I thought I got it wrong, so I felt stupid. But when I came back to my apartment and checked again, it verifies the ferry ride - on this very critiquing form. False advertising. I think a refund of some sort is in order.
