What you'll do

We will be visiting the Rio Cocó State Park, from the Portal do Mangue, together with an environmentalist. We will take the kayaks and paddle along the paths of the Cocó River, with a beautiful view, among the native mangrove vegetation. The waters of the river are clean and delicious for swimming, because they are close to the mouth of the bar, where there is constant water renewal.

During the tour we will be talking about the richness of the local vegetation that lies between the dunes and the sea, which we will also see during the kayak trail.

On this water tour, we will also visit the local Mangrove Museum and its surroundings. Then, we will stop for a swim, near the mouth of the Sabiaguaba beach bar. Then, we will go around a mangrove island and return to the place of origin.

The support point has a restaurant, shower, bathroom and parking. Usually in the afternoons there is live music.

I am passionate about nature and healthy eating. I'm a surfer and I make Homemade Healthy Cookies. Graduated in Journalism, specialized in Communication Advisory, an area I have been engaged in for 11 years. I just wrote a cultural book about surfing and kitesurfing in Ceará. I have great pleasure in sharing with people the energy and beauty of Ceará's native nature. Places that many Fortalezenses do not know. Whoever loves the dunes, river, sea, mangrove and nature sports knows how essential these experiences are for the mental and physical health of human beings.

Where you'll be

In the Sabiaguaba neighborhood. We will be enjoying, at the same time, the connection of fresh water (river) and salt water (sea), and experiencing its fauna and flora. They are clean waters, constantly renewed due to the mouth of the Cocó river bar.

Um experiência incrível no mangue, rio e mar! Os hosts foram muito atenciosos e super animados em mostrar e contar sobre a natureza e os projetos ambientais! Excelente!
