What you'll do

We will meet at my house and after wearing the apron we will begin to knead the famous pizzoccheri and sciatt or other traditional Valtellinese dishes. I will teach you how to cut cheese, the degree of cooking of butter, the quantities and the little secrets that make these dishes unique. We will set the table, eat hot and steaming pizzoccheri or other dishes made by you and it will be a satisfaction to see how good you have been and how good they are. You will eat bresaola and local cheese with local rye bread or white bread. Following the famous Valtellina apples and other fruit you will most like and the typical Valtellina sweets: bisciöla or cüpeta or biscuits with figs. All this accompanied by a bottle of excellent Valtellinese red wine. Finally, after the coffee, those who like it, the famous amaro Braulio made in Bormio or an aromatic grappa produced in Tirano. So not only will you learn to make pizzoccheri or other dishes yourself but you will consume an entire meal completely completely from Valtellina and you will do it with me, pleasantly conversing about everything. Hi, my name is Silvia and I was born and raised in Valtellina where I returned in 2018 after 12 years spent in the Marche, a region that I love. It is here that I appreciated, learned and made the art of cordiality, of conviviality and of being together so much that I wanted to make a reason for living. The workplace will be the kitchen of my house. In winter you can enjoy the fruit of your work in the living room with the company of a crackling fireplace. Esperienza semplice e divertente, adatta a tutti. Silvia ti fa sentire subito a casa e ti segue molto durante tutta la lezione, ma il vero padrone di casa è Max. Se non vi piacciono i gatti non saprete neanche che esiste perché rimane chiuso in camera, ma se li amate sarà veramente la ciliegina sulla torta della vostra serata.

Cosa dire esperienza unica sicuramente da rifare. Silvia una donna dolce ed esperta ci ha fatto conoscere i sapori valtellinesi ma allo stesso tempo ci ha fatto vivere una serata in famiglia ridendo e scherzando. I pizzoccheri semplici da fare e molto molto buoni. La casa curata nei minimi dettagli e soprattutto pulita. La tavola apparecchiata molto bene. Cosa posso consigliarvi andate andate a conoscere questa donna eccezionale che vi aprirà le porte della sua casa ma soprattutto del suo cuore. Grazie ancora Silvia

Esperienza unica nel suo genere. Silvia è fantastica, ci ha insegnato i trucchi per dei pizzoccheri a regola d'arte, e ci ha accolti alla sua tavola per condividere insieme il pranzo della domenica. Esperienza al di sopra delle aspettative. Silvia è una padrona di casa davvero accogliente, oltre che un’ottima cuoca che non cela nessuno dei segreti che conosce. Io e la mia fidanzata abbiamo sperimentato la preparazione dei pizzoccheri, seguiti passo passo dall’esperienza di Silvia e al termine abbiamo goduto della sua compagnia e di una gustosa cena a base dei pizzoccheri da noi preparati e altri prodotti tipici valtellinesi. Silvia è una donna molto espansiva ma mai indiscreta e sa rendere la preparazione e la cena esperienze davvero gradevoli. Decisamente consigliata! This experience had exceeded our expectations! Silvia is a very welcoming host and a skilful cook who doesn’t hide any of the little secrets she knows to cook according to the tradition. We’ve made pizzoccheri and then have enjoyed a delicious meal tasting lots of local typical products.
