Liliane

I am a Haitian folk artist. I am a graduate of Barry University, master's degree in Human Resources Development and Administration. In 2006, I received the life achievement award in folk art from the state of Florida Dept. of Cultural Affair. I am the author of When Night Falls, Kric! Krac! Pumpkin Soup is for Sunday, The Magic of Zenga and the Pumpkin Soup and other children books and publications. I am a born storyteller, i entertained my younger siblings when my mother would not have to do it after the birth of #8. I learn to cook at a very early age with the Haitian maid in the back yard kitchen. Later on at culinary school. 10 years ago, i was diagnosed with lung cancer. I did research on how to cure my disease. With my basic knowledge on leaves that cure in Haiti, was able to come with a plan for my cure. Today i am cancer free.
