What you'll do

It is a trip to foreigners who visit Seoul, Korea. This night hiking, climbing in Seoul in the evening or at night, could be a very unique experience.
It is especially recommended during the month of April when Cherry blossoms are beautiful.

We can enjoy the night view of Seoul while doing light exercise for about two hours. There may be a short time to learn about the history of Seoul and the geopolitical context of Korea. Finally wrap up is with a cup of coffee or tea of a famous coffee shop.

The walking-road is well maintained. It's not a difficult course, but stair climbing is included.

Definitely a unique experience! It was something I will remember for a long time. I will say this - be wary of the time of year you choose to do this activity. My group went in the first week of February. It was 7°C (44.6°F) to START. At 7PM. For a MOUNTAIN HIKE. IT WAS SO COLD. And there was occasional snow and ice to deal with, from time to time. That, of course, was not our guide's fault, so I wouldn't deduct points for it. Just something to keep in mind. The most important thing to note, though, is that, if you are not athletic - specifically, if you do not have strong legs - this will be VERY difficult. I was very out of shape when I went on this expedition, and I am froman area of the world where there are no mountains nearby, so I am not physically accustomed to that kind of atmospheric change. It was a struggle. An intense struggle. I was huffing and puffing nearly the whole time. You know what, though? The views were spectacular, Peter was so kind and gracious and patient, and I get to tell people one heck of a story, now. So I would encourage you to take a shot and do this. Just be wary. Stretch beforehand. And bring lip balm and water. Have fun, explorers!

Me and my friend had so much fun on our night hike with Peter! We got some amazing views and a good workout! Peter is very kind and has a deep understanding of the area and Korean history and shares many stories during the hike, and even takes you to a famous coffee house after the hike. Would definitely recommend!

Peter and his wife Rachel, they were both very friendly and down to earth people. Was a nice area, beautiful long hike, fresh air during the night hike was refreshing and a v different experience from day hike. The entire hike truly took 3 hours. Enjoyable. They were also very thoughtful, bringing a bottle of water for us/small snacks for the hike! Happy with the experience!

Highly recommend this! You could not only see the awesome view of Seoul city but find some little fun facts about the local life. "Don't go there, live there." And I think this is a great way to realize that.

It was a fabulous night trek with Peter. A bit tough, but occasional rest stops made it ok. Peter gave us a lot of information about the area while walking and we really connected well with him
