Hi, I'm Igor and I was born and raised in Venice. I obtained a qualification diploma as a tour operator here in Venice. I am also a diving instructor and I love my city and its uniqueness.
Since I was young I have actively participated in the activities of the amateur sports club "Venice Dive Center", a non-profit sports association (ASD) founded in Venice in 1989. I am currently the president of the club and I would like to show my city and let people discover its beautiful lagoon, its traditions and its beautiful islands.

N.B. The cost of the experience includes the membership card to the Venice Sports Center a.s.d. and additional insurance.

A.S.D. Venice Sports Center was officially born in 1989 and promotes activities such as boat trips, sport fishing, diving courses and excursions. The association has more boats, including a typical 5-meters Venetian boat with a 5-persons capacity and a 7.40 m BWA superdiving rubber dinghy that can accommodate 20 people. It is very spacious, safe and equipped with all comforts.

This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to asd Venice Dive Center.

Where you'll be

The meeting point will be at the San Lazzaro dei Mendicanti church, near the San Giovannie Paolo square. Here we will start our tour: I will take you on the Grand Canal passing through the Rio de San Zan Degola in the heart of Venice and emerge in front of Sant'Angelo. We will then continue to the Rio de Ca 'Garzoni, passing the canal that runs under the church of Santo Stefano. From here we will travel along the Grand Canal and finally return to the meeting point.

Igor provided a superb private boat tour, covering parts of the city otherwise inaccessible. The views of the Grand Canal and around the Arsenale were particularly impressive. Being offered Prosecco and snacks was a nice touch too. Thanks Igor!

If you want to see Venice from another perspective this boat trip is for you. Igor is the nicest guy who made us feel very welcome on his boat and told us all kinds of stories. It really is something different to experience Venice by boat with a local. Igor will show you sights you would otherwise never see and on the way you will be treated with local prosecco and snacks. Highly recommend! :)
