What you'll do

We will walk along the streets of Buenos Aires, from Puerto Madero to Plaza de Mayo
going through the life and story of different women who played a very significant role in the achievement and expansion of rights towards gender equality.
Through parks, streets and monuments, we invite you to travel towards the end of the 19th century with the first feminists. Then, with unique games, trivia and anecdotes, we will take you to explore the history of the women's movement to this day.
We will go through emblematic places and see, through images, how they looked decades ago. We will share material for you to understand better each of the stories.
At the end of the tour, we will take a short break and we'll drink mate, the traditional Argentine drink, and we will teach you how to prepare it, telling you the secrets of two professionals.
Also, we will take a public transportation for a short stretch so you can learn to travel in the city.

Important:
- accessible tour (can be done with baby strollers and / or wheelchairs)
- Men are super invited to participate!
- in the NIGHT TOUR, we will finish in Costanera, by the lake, where it's possible to have a typical argentinian street food, "choripan" -pork sausage- and some chips --> OPTIONAL (not included in the price)

5***** recommendation! This is a must-do tour! Lucia was wonderful: very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. We discovered the city and the history from a whole new perspective - my boyfriend being from BsAs and me having visited multiple times already. I loved Lucias storytelling with a mixture of historic figures and dates combined with what’s going on in today’s feminist movement. Our expectations were exceeded, the tour was so interesting that we didn’t notice how time raced by. We definitely want to come back and do more activities with Lucia & Leticia! Suerte y hasta pronto!

Going on this tour is a highlight of my two month stay here in Buenos Aires. I did the tour with Leticia who was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure the tour would work for me in terms of timing, content, and my wheelchair use. I had the good fortune of doing the tour on International Womens day which made it extra special. Prior to the tour, I was sent info on Women's day activities, as well as suggestions for other places, books, etc I might be interested in. The tour itself was incredibly interesting covering both current info about women's rights and movement, as well as the history of women's rights in Argentina. Questions were encouraged and answered in detail. I can't thank Leticia enough for the opportunity to learn so much about women and feminism in Argentina. Highly recommended!

Leticia provided an experience we could never have had with a typical walking tour. Not only were we able to see many beautiful parts of Buenos Aires but we learned so much through her passionate storytelling of the amazing and very under-appreciated role of women in Argentina’s history. We were visiting on the eve of the women’s march and were able to understand much more about what Argentinian women are working hard to achieve for women’s rights. Whether you consider yourself a feminist or not, this tour will give you an historical perspective that you will not get anywhere else. It was thoughtful, personal and very educational!!

Yes, yes, yes! This was the only tour we were able to fit in for our quick trip to BA, but we are so grateful this was the one. Leticia was fabulous: incredibly thoughtful, obviously passionate and insightful behind belief. We had serendipitous timing with getting a tour on international women’s day, and she and Lucia kept us updated on all the happenings in the city to celebrate (including inviting us to participate). Leticia answered allll of our questions and ended up spending an additional 2 hours (!!) with us. We could’ve listened to her stories for hours more! The experience felt like a very personal peek into a culture that you can’t often get when you visit for only a few days. We will be looking for similar tours in future travels because of this one. We can not recommend this highly enough for anyone, both men and women, young and old, as it is as informational as it is insightful.

Leti has that rare combination of being respectful, fun, professional and genuine. She knows her country and always encourages thoughtful dialogue whether that is through questions or exchanging personal experiences on the tour. I had been living in Buenos Aires for six months a couple years back and acquired a lot of secret gems within Buenos Aires. But when I returned and signed up for this tour I was beyond impressed and learned things I wish I had known a while back. Thank you Leti for genuinely sharing your country with me. My best to you and the rest of the team. - Christian
