It was a great tour of the Asian side of Istanbul. We enjoyed riding the historical tram and touring Moda. Walking around the historical side and seeing old homes and even the more modern homes made us feel immersed in the culture. The tea and Turkish snack was quite delightful and tasty. We loved the fish market, and the antique shops of Kadikoy too. Deniz was very patient when we made a couple of purchases around the antique shops. She took pictures of us in the colorful areas for nice souvenirs. She had great recommendations for places to eat as well. Communication was easy. Felt like we made a local friend. We had a wonderful time and glad we were able to experience this area of Istanbul, even though we had some rain. 😊

It was a wonderful experience, thank you very much Denise and to your uncle for this fascinating and informative walk in Kadikoy. We have never been to the Asian part of Istanbul and I want to say that Kadikoy conquered us. This is a very colorful and beautiful area with its own history. Inimitable architectural mansions and houses, old shops and a bazaar! Historic places, temples and mosques. Delicious tea and aromatic sweets. Recommended to everyone😍

I can only recommend going to this tour. Deniz makes you feel comfortable from the start and share unique insights of her neighbourhood. So much simplicity and accessibility ! Because i was going to a football game later on, she connected me with a friend of her who was going to, so that that i can meet him and enjoy even more; that says it all.

Never in my life have I ever been this compelled to write a review on any website. Deniz, oh Deniz, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Deniz is an incredibly well educated person who will help you understand and enjoy Kadikoy, or "The City Of The Blind'' ( do the tour for more info haha ), in and incredible and fun way. Not only this but Deniz was available and helpful all throughout my stay in Istanbul, she arranged us transfers and was there ( on WhatsApp ) for me whenever I encountered a situation in which I felt insecure or lost.. This woman is amazing! I never planned forehead on visiting the asian side, if you think the same, change your thought! The Asian side is exploding with art, history, bars and culture. DO VISIT! Deniz was sensible and adapted the tour to the needs of us once she understood we liked to have fun and drink and see art lol So she took us to places that we will never forget. Honestly, this was the most surprising experience I had in Istanbul and the best bargain I got, It's not only worth your money, its so amazing it actually feels like free. Think no more.

Having access to Deniz's cultural knowledge and experience was of great value to me during my trip to Istanbul. A great tour for understanding many of the cultural nuances of this complex cityscape.
