What you'll do

You'll be boarding a 38' luxury sailing yacht and sailing to spectacular Broken Bay, the Hawkesbury River and if the weather is favorable, into stunning Pittwater. You will have the opportunity to aquire the basic knowledge of sailing. Learn how to raise the mainsail and trim the sheets whilst we tack across Broken Bay. Alternatively you can just chill and enjoy the stunning surroundings. We'll anchor off a sandy beach where we will go to shore and commence an easy 1.5 hour bush walk where your host will explain to you the history of the region, prior and post white settlement. See aboriginal rock carvings and cave paintings that are 2000 years old and majestic gum trees that are growing out of sandstone rock. Upon your return to the yacht you be provided a great Aussie BBQ and cold refreshments.
There will be time for a swim or just chill before returning back to the original meeting place. Depending on the tides of the day the activities may be swapped meaning the bush walk may take place prior to the sail.
Other things to note
The skipper will make the final decision on whether the experience happens on the day and where the departure place will be. This will be determined on the weather, sea conditions, winds and tide.

I have sailed and lived in this region for many years. I have sailed the east coast of Australia from Cairns in far north Queensland down to Eden in Southern NSW. The vicinity in which this experience is located is by far in my opinion, the most scenic part of this beautiful coast. I am passionate about this region and relish the opportunity to share this special part of the world with people with like minds. Come and listen to stories of our sailing adventures and let us share with you the history of this important part of Australia's settlement. Be prepared to be amazed with the stunning raw beauty of our national parks with their sandy beaches, sandstone cliffs and rocky outcrops all of which that are located so close to Sydney, that the effort to get here is almost minimal.
Come and join us for a day that you will never forget.
