What you'll do

At the begininng of the session, we will have a chat about what Mindfulness might mean to you and I will take you through an introduction. We will do a guided meditation after the introduction chat and then following another discussion, finish off with a slightly longer meditation.

I am an entrepreneur who trained in Mindfulness to deal with the effects of stress and anxiety after a member of my family became ill. It has transformed my life and I now practise daily. I am trained to teach an eight week course in Mindfulness so I offer taster sessions for people who have perhaps never meditated before and would be interested to learn more about how mindfulness can help you cope with the up's and down's that life throws at us. I have been practising for over four years now and look to deepen my practise whenever possible.

The main living room in the Chapel is perfect for holding a mindfulness session as it is double height and has a serenity about it that really helps when teaching a subject like this. No previous experience is necessary to try meditating, all I ask is you bring along an open mind.

Where you'll be

We will conduct our mindfulness taster session outside if the weather is permitting. We have some beautiful fields we can use or our woodland is also a very good place to hold the session. Being outside and connecting with nature definately helps with the experience.

If its not suitable weather to be outside, then the living room in the holiday let is a fantastic space to have the mindfulness session.

Things to know

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 16 and up can attend.

You may wish to bring a note book to take notes and a pencil
