About your host

I'm a native Texan, and I've been living in Munich for over 8 years. I love this city. From outdoor markets and biergartens to palaces right in the city, Munich has so much to offer. Travel is my passion, and I love to help others find their inner adventurer.

What we’ll do

I'll help you navigate some highlights of this city's fascinating history and culture. We will begin at one of Munich's last standing Gothic gates and wind our way through the city center to end up at one of the largest biergartens Munich has to offer, seeing a plethora of interesting places along the way.

What else you should know

There will be places to stop and use the restroom, but please bring change as many public toilets charge a small fee.

Where you'll be

Starting at Sendlinger Tor, we will first make our way to Viktualienmarkt, where we will take in the sights and smells of all that the local vendors have to offer. Then we will pass through Marienplatz and see the famous Glockenspiel, walk along a former royal palace, watch surfers catch a wave along the Eisbach, and wind our way through the English Gardens to finally end up at the Chinese Tower biergarten.
