This was a GREAT family activity!!! Visiting Seattle on vacation - we decided to do some interesting and fun things with our two boys (13 & 11). We chose this - AND SO GLAD WE DID!! Our instructor, Karen, was incredible (and patient!) and very encouraging. You could tell she enjoyed the teaching aspect and both of my kiddos felt comfortable and engaged with her. Being out of town was no problem, we all produced bowls that could be glazed the same night they were thrown, so for additional cost, we were able to choose our glazes, paint them, and in a few weeks after they are fired at the studio, will be mailed to our home! We will for sure keep these for a lifetime and each one of us walked away from this experience wanting to do more pottery throwing! The entire studio had so many interesting activities here. Wish we had this in our hometown! Hughes clan highly recommends this activity!!
