What you'll do

Steamboat has great mountain biking , all of it is easily accessible and there’s riding for all levels. You pick the spot either Emerald mountain or buffalo pass. Emerald is geared for all ability levels and buff pass is geared more towards intermediate to advanced level riding. Also available to ride usually mid July to late September is the Continental Divide from Rabbit Ears Pass to Steamboat Resort. I do not provide bikes but I am willing to help with any rental or transportation questions.
Other things to note
We have trails in Steamboat for all levels. The good news is, you get to choose where we ride!

I am a mountain bike enthusiast who loves the outdoors. I have lived in Steamboat Springs for over 25 years. I enjoy riding all of the technical trails around Steamboat, but I also enjoy being out in the forest on mellow single track. I can make your experience fit your riding style and ability level. I also have mechanical skills that come in handy on the trails.

Where you'll be

We will be riding on Buffalo Pass. Aspen trees and buffed out single track trails will be the highlight of our destination.

Bill is an excellent guide. Give him your level of experience and what kind of riding you like and he will get you there! He was great about waiting for me on the climbs and took me on some sweet downhill that I’d probably not been brave enough to do alone. It was a great ride. Highly recommended!!

Our mountain bike experience with Bill was excellent! Firstly, Bill is a really nice human being. Secondly, he was an expert about mountain biking. He took my son and I to an area for biking that we would not have known to go to. He also made me feel very safe because he knew all the trails and picked appropriate ones to do with regard to our experience. He had a breakfast for us and plenty to eat and drink during our morning experience. I would use Bill again the next time we are out in Steamboat. He has lived in Steamboat close to 30 years and has a genuine love for the area which made our trip even better. Nothing but positives to say about our mountain bike trip with Bill!!!!
