As more and more greyhounds are released from racing, we want to share our love of this breed with potential adopters who haven’t previously had greyhounds.

Greyhounds are a noble, ancient breed—and they differ from other dogs. They behave differently and have unique needs.

We have adopted and fostered 8 greyhounds over 20 years. We also babysit greyhounds.

By working with a respected greyhound adoption group, we are well qualified to adopt retired racing greyhounds. We know how to make our home safe and welcoming to dogs that have never seen tile floors, glass doors, mirrors, stairs, and more aspects of home life. Successful adoption come from knowing what to expect of racers and training them to be happy and well-behaved pets.

We’ll share secrets about retired racers to help people prepare to qualify as future greyhound adopters.
