What you'll do

You won't get this experience in any museum, it is authentic and doesn't compare to any built-for-the-public place. It is as real as a Soviet Post-WWII bunker can get.

During this Experience, you will explore the recently declassified facility - the Bunker of the Cold War period. It was built at a depth of 50 meters just a year before the Cuban missile crisis. The place is super authentic.

A local guide - who is a historian - will explain you the logic behind the construction of bunkers in the Soviet Union and he will share some stories that will surprise you. And then you are free to go deeper underground! No passenger elevators, just myriads of stairs - come prepared!

Inside the Bunker, you will explore dark tunnels of the Underground facility. You will see an active 10-tonne door that could protect the bunker against the shock wave of a nuclear strike as well as many other hermetic doors that separate parts of the object.

On 50 meters deep you will research the areas around, technical rooms, storage facilities, the appendix, connected with metro and many more. It is an interactive experience so you can touch, push and pull all switches around.

Be prepared for unexpected!

On your way back, after working out 43 meters of stairs back to the surface, you can relax, take your breath and enjoy some coffee. Then you can take a taxi or walk back to the metro on your own.

Hi, we are a team of friends, who are Moscow tour guides.
Viktor and Polina give tours in English inside the Bunker. Anton and Juliia are your hosts and who escort you to the Bunker from the meeting spot and sometimes translate the tour if there’s a Russian speaking guide assigned in the Bunker.

Your hosts are friendly and have exceptional knowledge of the bunker and enough enthusiasm. They will share a lot of stories that will surprise you. It is a real treat to see some of this extraordinary Soviet history and the history of the Cold War. We try to make the underground experience fun and interactive

We love to research hidden gems and secret places, like early Soviet buildings of the constructivist style or post-war Soviet bunkers

Where you'll be

This is a once in a lifetime experience. It is not an amusement park but a truly historical place. An authentic, unique experience and thought-provoking. A real treat to see some of this Soviet history.

This is a unique bunker, declassified and opened just recently. It has been never renovated, so you'll see it as it was built in the 1950s-early 1960s.

This place still has a feel of a real thing and this is not pop music, this is Rammstein.

The AirBB host brings you to the tour location and leaves the tour in the very capable hands of the Bunker tour team. These guys knew their stuff too. Tour is fun, informative and to the delight of my teenager- they had a AK47 that he could pose with. You should check with Anton if he intends to pick you up after the tour. He didn't return to pick us up- not a problem for us as but a lone female may be less comfortable with walking back on her own.

The experience was amazing, but you can obtained it without Anton. In fact, I never met with Anthon and you could booket the experience by yourself at internet.

This is a once in a lifetime, really darn cool experience!! Coming from America to learn about the history of Russia has been so enlightening and seeing this Bunker in a real, 'non-tourisy' way was just awesome. Would highly recommend!

This was such a unique experience and was easily one of the most fascinating experiences I had in Moscow! It didn’t feel touristy at all, and there was a lot of great information presented. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in military history!

The bunker is great, but this Airbnb experience is not the best: they just walk you down the street and have you join in a professional tour group. Anton was not there and added very little. Just skip this and book Bunker 703 tickets directly online.
