What you'll do

Apart from NO-refined sugar, NO-preservative, NO-MSG or artificial sweetener & low-level of sweetness for Southern dishes (only natural sweetness or using palmyra jaggery if needed) We'll use all high-grade ingredients from fish-sauce, soy-sauce, Himalaya pink salt, etc., to tofu, meat, fish, pawn, vegetables, herbs...
- Each guest per cooking station with utensils
- Small group (only max. 4 people)
Sample Menu (pick 3-4 dishes per class)
- Purple yum soup/ Fillet red snapper fish sweet sour soup/ Quail egg and tomato soup
- Aloe Vera salad/ Banana blossom salad/ Yam bean salad
- Fried chicken-wing with fish sauce/ Eel simmered with green banana & pork/ Rice noodle crab/ Fried pawn with salted egg/ Fried spring rolls/ Minced pork wrapped in wild betel leaf
- Stir-frying rice vermicelli/ Southern stir-frying beef & rice noodle/ Stir-frying fillet red snapper fish with dill/ green basil
- A beer per people in the meal.
- Dessert/ tropical fruits provided by host
- Detox drinks, water, green tea are available

i'm Chung, a good-food lover was born in the North, but spending almost 10 years in Saigon, the South.
Initially learn cooking skills from my mum, adopting the culinary of the Central and the South area, i'd love to share a glance of healthy and sustainable cooking methodology to whom might be interested in Vietnamese culinary.
A different mindset to the food you might have tasted on the streets or restaurants. So the food closes to the old days & is healthy at least.

Where you'll be

Green Fish-sauce Kitchen is nested in a rooftop and tucked away in quiet alleyway of Pasteur street, District 3, HCMC (near City Central)
For private group, the menu will be adapted to your request. If you would like to learn specific dishes, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Some sample menu can be tailored to the vegetarian/vegan dishes

Things to know

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Guest requirements

Up to 4 guests ages 10 and up can attend. Parents may also bring children under 2 years of age.

Alcohol

This experience includes alcohol. Only guests who meet the legal drinking age will be served alcoholic beverages.
