This was amazing and unforgettable experience! I had so much fun and learned a lot. It was also not rushed and we dived deep into activity. This is where you feel samurai soul indeed! One of my top highlights out of all Japan visits. Yusuke-san is very passionate about his art and also very kind person. He was very attentive to everyone and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this experience!

Must-do experience, if you want an authentic exposure into Japanese culture of samurai, art, warfare and people. The host was very welcoming and supportive. You first got to choose your clothes, then got introduced to the world of Samurai from tea ceremony to learning basic techniques of Samurai. So much happening in the few hours, I learnt so much and was truly impressed!

An absolutely incredible experience; for those who love the world of the Samurai and Japanese culture, these hours are worth the entire trip to Japan. The host, Yusuke, is a wonderful person. He is kind, knowledgeable, and also speaks perfect English. He was able to explain the most important aspects of Samurai culture very well, illustrated the world of katanas, and taught us some meditation practices after introducing us to the tea ceremony. We put on a kimono (chosen by us from various colors and patterns) and were able to handle a katana (also chosen by us), learning some basic Samurai moves. Yusuke taught us very well and was very patient with us, letting us try and try again and always supporting us. He also put us through a "daikon cutting" test, which was absolutely crazy! Finally, Yusuke put on a performance himself in the courtyard of the house and enchanted us all!Thank you, Yusuke. You're one of a kind!!!!
