About your host

I'm Isabella, a chocolate maker at Avanaa Chocolat. I studied as a pastry chef and chocolatier, but bean-to-bar chocolate became my focus. I had the opportunity to work for a chocolate sommelier, Karine at Miss Choco who trained me on chocolate tasting. What we’ll do

We are bean-to-bar chocolate makers, that means that we make the chocolate from ethically sourced beans and transform it into delicious bars! - First, I will go through the history of chocolate and the bean-to-bar movement and explain what sets us apart! -Together, we will walk through the steps of how we make our chocolate. You will have the chance to try your hand at it by jumping into where…

I'm happy to offer the workshop in English or French. We have basic Spanish and Italian speaking abilities as well. Great activity for vegan foodies!
