What you'll do
You will take the beginnings of the Open Water Diver Certification. Have you always wanted to try scuba diving? This one day experience is your doorway to the underwater world without a certification. 10AM: Classroom Training You will meet your instructor and experience a 30 minute training that goes over the basic skills and procedures of scuba diving. 11AM: Shallow Water Training You and your instructor head to the beach and will practice the 6 skills you just learned in 3-4 feet of water. 11:30AM to 1:00PM: Lunch break 1:00PM: Dive in the National Marine Park! It’s go time! You will return to the shop for a boat trip where you will dive 2 tanks, one in MUSA the underwater museum and another in the natural reef. Your experience will take place in the Mexican National Marine park. This is not an animal encounter. We are required by law to keep a safe distance from any life, coral o

Where you'll be
Our learning takes place in the dive shop and on the beach before taking a 20 minute boat ride to and from MUSA, the underwater museum, and adjacent natural reef. The max depth you will dive is 29 feet (about 9 meters). We will be diving in the Mexican National Marine park. Regulations require us to keep a safe distance from all life, animal and coral.

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.
Up to 6 guests ages 10 and up can attend.
You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
This is how most of us first experience diving. Minimum age is 10 years. You should be free of sinus congestion and any substances that would affect your judgement or ability to relax.
