About your host

I'm the co-founder of Lammas vzw, a nonprofit organisation focused on preserving our mother nature. For the last 8 years I've been a Permaculture designer, food grower and cook. I'm passionate about promoting a sustainable lifestyle, a plant-based diet, a DIY-attitude wherever possible.

About Lammas vzw

Lammas vzw is a nonprofit organization focused on preserving our mother nature. Here in Belgium, we are mostly working as Permaculture designers, turning grey into green. We are part of a bigger network where we offer a whole range of workshops about edible plants, medicinal plants, bio-construction, natural gardening, foodgrowing techniques, vegetarian cooking workshops, etc.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Lammas vzw. .

What we’ll do

We will gather around 10h at our permaculture farm De Droomgaard in Meise. You will be welcomed with coffee or tea and will have a short introductory talk. At 10h30 we will start a herbal walk along our farm where we will enlighten you with all the edible plants that are growing here: both wild and cultivated variaties. What I’ll provide

Food
The meal will consists of a freshly-picked green salad, a herb-based dressing, bread, cheese and other condiments.
Drinks
We will provide you with a welcoming tea or coffee and during lunch an organic local beer or fruit juice.
Transportation
The place is easily reachable by bus or car. Please ask about our pick-up service for an additional cost.
Equipment
We will provide all the necessary equipment for harvesting, cooking and eating.
