To begin with, Sajid was extremely flexible to accommodate us on the walk on a day that wasn't originally listed on the platform. He is prompt to respond and ensured that we have all the information needed to have the best experience. As to the actual walk, it was slow paced fo ensure that we were able to take in the sights of Shimla and enjoy his stories. Sajid's knowledge and passion about the place, its flora and culture reflects throughout the walk he has designed. Highly recommend this to everyone visiting Shimla!

Sajid is a very warm and interactive tour guide. He knew all the spots really well and told us a lot of interesting facts that we didn’t know earlier. Time with him went by very easily and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with him. He also went out of his way to help us visit the spots we wanted and his food recommendations are outstanding! We’d 100% recommend having a guided tour with him in case someone really wants to explore Shimla.

He is one of those rare people striving to preserve the lost art of tour guiding in the age of IG and YouTube. This wasn’t a heritage walk from a tourist’s perspective, it felt like seeing Shimla through a local’s lens. He took us through his childhood lanes, the grounds where they used to play, the tea shops they once hung out at, and so many stories you’d never find online. He didn’t just guide us during the walk; throughout our time in Shimla, he went above and beyond, helping with restaurant recommendations, places to visit, and even supporting us while we were heading out of Shimla. The walk itself was around 5 km, but honestly, it never felt like one. Time just flew.
