Booking Nur's class was one of the best decisions of our week in Istanbul. She was exceptionally responsive and warm, and kept sending restaurant and neighborhood tips throughout the rest of our trip - genuinely shaping how we experienced the city.
The class itself was a highlight. We cooked a complete Turkish meal from scratch: lentil soup, tepsi kebabı with bulgur pilavı, sigara böreği, çoban salatası, and kadayıf dolması. Real hands-on cooking, beautifully explained, and we sat down to a full table of food we had made ourselves.
Nur was wonderful with my boys (9 and 13). She gave them real tasks - shaping the kebab, rolling the böreks - and made them feel like part of the kitchen. Both were completely absorbed, and weeks later they're still talking about it.
