Our guide was really pleasant and remained enthusiastic even after driving for a long time. I sat in the passenger seat, and I really liked it because I had a clear view.
You need luck because it's not a simulated zoo. I saw common moles, wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bilbies, and malas. It's hard to spot frilled neck lizards, though.
The dinner that our guide prepared herself was also incredibly delicious!
It gets quite chilly in the evening, so be sure to bring an outer garment. For night tours, it is advisable to bring a red flashlight in advance so that you can easily illuminate the animals yourself. Don't forget to bring your wallet for one last souvenir shop! I couldn't see the stars because of the clouds, but I hope you have better luck with the weather.
Our guide was cheerful and never appeared tired despite the long drive. Tip: Sit in the front passenger seat for the best view of the wildlife!
Since it is a natural habitat, sightings depend on luck. I saw echidnas, wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bilbies, and sugar gliders. The guide said that numbats are rare (2/40 chance). The hand-prepared dinner was amazing. 👍
In April, it gets chilly at night, so please bring a jacket. For the night tour, try to get a red flashlight early so you can spot animals where you want. Also, please bring your wallet for the souvenir shop at the end! Though the stars were hidden by clouds for me, I hope you're having better luck!
