I obtained a Business Management, Hospitality & Convention bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida in 1992. I began my career at Hilton International's first property established in Puerto Rico in 1950, The Caribe Hilton. Subsequently, I became an association management director of marketing and meetings, and later a chief executive officer of a national trade association in the US. As such, I led contracting, design and planning of hundreds of events.
