About your host

Hi! My name is Harold. I was born and raise in Hong Kong but my grandpa was from Tianjin which is the North part of China, hometown of dumplings. I am very experienced in making dumplings and share them with families and friends especially every Chinese New Year. I can't wait to have you in my workshop and show you the tradition and joy of making dumplings!

What we’ll do

We will make the dumplings from the very beginning (buying the raw materials) till the end (eating). 1. Share what are in a dumpling (the secret recipe) 2. Go to the local wet market and buy the raw ingredient. 3. Prepare for the ingredient. 4. Make dumplings together (with at least 3 variations) 5. Cook and eat together!

What else you should know

We serve dumplings with meat. Not suitable for vegans.

What I’ll provide

Each person will make and eat at least 10 dumplings during the workshop.
All cooking equipments will be provided.

Where you'll be

The workshop will be held at my apartment. We will also go to the local wet market in Kwun Tong before we cook.

Guest requirements
