Our guide Kurt made this tour interesting in so many ways. His knowledge was amplified with his genuine enthusiasm. He not only pointed out specific areas of importance but added how and when battles happened, or plane crash, or road collapse, etc. He gave attention and assistance to my entering and exiting the van at each stop. He made sure each passenger was included in his presentations with a quick check in the rear view mirror or a callout of our names. The presentation was well received with amazement, enthusiastic participation, and follow-up questions. Also pointed out were good places for food, weekend activities and future return trips. Hearing other responses and questions, it was clear all of us were totally engaged with Kurt's presentation.
