Vanessa is amazing! I absolutely loved getting to learn both the weaving technique and rich history behind the mochila. There was not enough time to finish the bag, which I personally like, as it inspires me to keep practicing on my own. Highly recommend! Plus Vanessa’s store is an absolute artisan dream - everything is made with such love, skill, and craft.

Such a great experience. Veronica was lovely, knowledgeable and truly passionate about her craft. She infused information about the Iku women who famously make these gorgeous and meaningful mochilas prior to teaching us the technique. She was also extremely patient with us, especially those of us who are not talented with our hands. Highly recommend this experience. Only tip: needs to be a bit longer so we can finish the project.

Unique experience! The host, Veronica, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We didn’t finish the bag during the workshop but Veronica set us up with twine, needles, and everything we needed to continue on our own. I highly recommend this unique experience.
