About your host

Hi! I’ve been working with sheep since I was a wee lass. I helped my father here on our sheep farm build fences, the Spring House, painted the barn, and many other farm chores like shearing the sheep. I’m also an artist, writer, teacher, illustrator and BNB host. I’m thrilled to share some of my Scottish and Irish heritage with people.

What we’ll do

You’ll arrive at the farm house at 7:00 am and be introduced to Burnhead Grazings and it’s interesting history of the Boarder Collie, which got this all started, and eat a farm to table breakfast. (You can book a room at our BNB to be close) This will get you ready for a long mornings work.

What else you should know

This can be a physically strenuous day. It’s no where near wrangling cattle. Not for the weak in other words. If you want to come and just watch that’s fine too. You can be as involved as you like.

What I’ll provide

Where you'll be
