Indiana offered the perfect blend of color exploration and chemistry, and I'm excited to explore this new palette of natural pigments. I've worked with natural dyeing so it was fascinating to learn about the differences between painting and dyeing. Thank you for creating this unique experience in Oaxaca!

We had a wonderful time with Indiana in her beautiful studio. She was so helpful in opening a class for us when we couldn't make the scheduled time and in helping us to organise transport (it's only 20mins from oaxaca central and very easy to get to) The process was fascinating and hands on and she was also able to give us the history and significance of each pigment. We left with 3 beautiful colours that I am very excited to use and lots of information about preparing our own colours

One of the best experiences of my trip. Indiana is thoughtful and considerate and provides a lot of context and knowledge to understanding the area, community, nature, art, and technique. Extra points and charisma if you get to meet the family and dogs. Very knowledgeable educator and artist who was able to share much information about art theory and the region that adds a lot of enrichment to a trip.

My girlfriend (painter) and I took indiana’s class. She was an experienced, knowledgeable and engaging teacher. Creating pigments was new to me (I don’t often do art), but I found myself loving the process and never felt lost. I had so much fun. My girlfriend said that it was an unforgettable experience. She came away with new ideas and inspirations for her to take home. I’d highly recommend this idea for anyone - regardless of your experience level. It was special.
