About your host

Hi my name is Tammy and I will be your host for your experience on Kerrybrook Farm. We will be harvesting honey from our hives. We have had hives for 4 years and have been farming for 3 generations. I have been on the farm for 20 years. Currently I am compleating a Diploma of Agriculture and a certificate 3 in beekeeping. We have been selling honey to locals for 2 years and stock our farm retreat…

What we’ll do

Introduction to the hives and the life of bees. Explain how the hives work and what we do to harvest honey. Then we will head inside where the frames are set up for harvesting. Guests get to uncap and spinout the honey frames and watch how cold processing works.

What else you should know

Its sticky fun. So please bring a spare set of clothes.

Damper with tea or coffe with fresh honey.

Dress in light colured clothing, hats,enclosed shoes

Where you'll be

We will be conducting the honey harvest in our farmhouse kitchen. We are located in the Scenic Rim near Beaudesert.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 12 and up can attend.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
