What you'll do

I will take you on a visit to a biologic wine production farm and be explained the most traditional wine castes used in Ribatejo and other castes used in Portugal, chosen acording to their characteristics and adaptability. We will get to know wine production méthods leading to the wine's final result, visit the traditional wine cellar and see the various ways used for preserving the wine, such as the carving, the oak or the stainless steel tank. You'll taste four wine samples with different qualities, varying in their method of production and preservation, which will help you better identify and recognize the wine for its history and its intrinsic qualities, as a result of its different methods of production. The farm also offers a taste of its biologic olive oil and jams. After this, we will visit the Cooperative Winery of Cartaxo, where you will be aware of a completly industrialized wine producer, will taste some wines of the region produced by the Cooperative and get 5€ discount on any wines purchase at the winery.

Andreia

I am a founder of a company that stands for the preservation of values, traditions and environment of Ribatejo. Life caught me by the heart and brought to Ribatejo, so now I belong to one of its traditional families! I am proud to participate in the region's tourism organization, contributing to the preservation of one of its symbols - the Wine Production.
