Where you'll be

Located in the heart of SF's famous Golden Gate Park, there’s a lovely boathouse known mostly to locals. Every Friday we transform this space into a non-conventional intimate music venue. Nearby you can start off your evening by visiting the best Gold Gate Park has to offer. Our top favorites are the De Young Museum, the Japanese Garden, Academy of Science, and of course a cruise around the Stow Lake on a paddleboat, perfect for a date!

Good experience, the venue is a bit small, but compare with the content of the Jazz music, it still worth to give a try.

Great Experience! Host Communication before the event was fantastic and really set great expectations for the evening. Intimate setting for an evening with talented jazz artists.

I have been in SF for 13 years, and this was one of the coolest events I've attended. I will definitely be back.

Great experience at the Lakehouse. It gets cold so dress warm. I like that you can bring your own wine and food. I would recommend this experience to others.

A wonderful Friday night experience. A very intimate space in a cool location. The band looks like they were having fun and it definitely helped create that fun and easy atmosphere. The place can get a little cold, so do bring some extra layers but otherwise I would recommend.

I usually do not give mediocre ratings on experiences, but this really just wasn’t as cool as others have said. It was just not as special as mentioned in other reviews, with the host speaking and sharing and making people feel included— that never happened. I think David showed up once in the beginning and then gave the rest of the show to the performers. The musicians did not really speak to the audience as much but kind of just played for the full 2 hours, with tiny breaks in between where they mentioned who had written the song. We just did not feel a connection and would say we could experience this same experience anywhere else. The venue was pretty cool, and it was cold (which we were glad they warned us about). Bring lot of layers and a good blanket if you decide to come. Again, the show was not bad, we didn’t hate it, it just wasn’t as magical or exceptional as others have said.
