About your host

I'm a history freak, coffee lover and a tour guide from Helsinki. I have been leading tours in Finland and abroad for three years, and I can honestly say this is the best thing I could've done. I'm also a traveller, I have rounded the globe , but now I feel like it's time to show my city for the world! Helsinki has a wide cultural and underground scene and I feel excited to show some of the secret…

What we’ll do

On this tour, you will discover the untouristic areas of Helsinki and get an idea of what Helsinki really is all about! We will start in Pasila neighbourhood, which in past few years has turned into the biggest street art hub of Finland. We will explore some great murals made by national and international artists, and talk about the street art scene in Helsinki. Prepare your camera for some really…

What else you should know

In Finland we say that there's no bad weather, just poor clothing choices. This experience will run equally in case of cold weather/rain, so please dress accordingly.

What to bring

Tranportation ticket or 2,20€ in cash for the tram
Extra money for drinks or snacks

Where you'll be

Pasila district, used to be just a residential area and a transportation hub to move around in the city, but today the grey walls of East-Pasila are discovered by talented street artists. After Pasila, we'll head towards Kallio, the area where the creative people of Helsinki influence. Kallio is a neighbourhood with soul, and my purpose of the tour is to make you feel the real Kallio vibe. Halfway through, we will stop for a local roasted coffee.
