What we’ll do

Winter is a perfect time of year for observing animal tracks and animals! Class will consist of a snowy forest excursion while learning animal track, gait, sign and scat identification in the field, learning stalk walking and awareness techniques, analyzing ecological relationships, all while possibly snowshoeing (depending on weather and ground cover) to cover more ground. Where we'll be

On 45 secluded private acres in Chatham, New Hampshire, surrounded by White Mountain National Forest in the heart of Evan's Notch, or, in another natural setting pre-determined by communication with guests, should they require that. Toad Hill in Evan's Notch offers great views, ample wildlife, and peace and quiet. There will be a warming hut ready to go if needed!
