We loved this cooking class so much! Johann made each dish so simple for us to create and encouraged us a lot along the way. We were given some great history of the desserts we baked and the local Salzburg food culture. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to learn more about the food here and meet new friends!

Margaret was a fantastic teacher in this apple strudel making class. She went over all the steps first to show how it is done and then helped us make our own as we went through everything. We also made a Salzburger Nockerl which was super easy and delicious. Lunch was goulash and it was one of the best goulashes we have ever had. We highly recommend this class and you could end up with extra strudel to take with you if you don't eat it all!

We had fun learning how to make apple strudel and Salzburger Nockerln with Alina (ph). The apple strudel, in particular turned out really well despite the fact that we had to patch two big holes in the dough. The strudel was crispy on the bottom, flaky on top, and full of warm apple, cinnamon, and raisin flavors inside. We were also provided with a bowl of goulash soup, which was really tasty.

This cooking class was stellar, I ended up doing one of the host's evening classes, instead of a lunch class that I had originally booked because of a scheduling conflict. We made strudel, pretzels and two types of dumplings! There was also a small show that was put on during the meal, which was an added bonus!
