Our guide was Anais. It turned out that we were the only ones signed up... so it was basically a private tour. Anais was very welcoming and apologetic for the poor weather. You could tell that she loves the city and wanted us to live it too. We got such an amazing lesson in the history of Brussels, saw a very beautiful garden, the most stunning stained glass church windows, a well-worn pub, the most amazing square, and a luxurious covered shopping area hosting a variety of decadent chocolateries. Interspersed with all of that was some of the most mouth watering food you can imagine. Creamy shrimp croquettes, boulettes in savory/sweet sauce, fresh/warm/slightly sweet waffles, rich chocolate praline, and a few amazing beers to help wash it all down. I highly recommend this tour!
